I am excited to say I have completed my first UFO of the year. I have about 12 projects that I have started and intend to finish this year. Hopefully I won't start too many before I finish the ones that I have started. This one called batik stars is a quilt that started as a block swap at the quilt shop last year. Everyone in the swap made 20 batik squares and they were swapped so everyone had some that were made by others in the swap. I put them together in a top but never did finish it. Last week I had my sewing machine fixed so I could do free motion quilting so I finally got it quilted. The quilting is far from perfect but I am hoping with more practice I will get better.
