Here is Thomas' quilt. It is almost finished. I have the prairie points on and I am just seaming up the edges to attach the backing to the points. I think I may add a bit of quilting to the outer border and then I"ll be done. Here is a picture of the label-Jim did it for me. I think it came out really cute. I still have to add that also, but I am hoping to have it ready to wrap tonight!

Dinosaurs for Thomas
OK , my new nephew was born while we were in Disney World. Now he needs a quilt. I was waiting til he was born, because if he were a she, I was going to do something pink. Well he was a he, so I decided on Dinos! I found this cute pattern in a Quiltmaker magazine, I think from '03. Here is the main part of it. The feet are dimensional. I have to applique the heads on now. I am still deciding on what to do for borders. The pattern has it being this big and then put prairie points around the edge, which is cute. But this is too small the way it is. So I am thinking a border of the background so the main part floats a bit and then something with the colors that are in the dinos. Not sure if I will just do a strip or something more complicated. Seeing that the baptism is next weekend and I start working on Monday, it won't be too complicated whatever it is, because I still have to quilt it! I am hoping to finish the top today and quilt tomorrow-wish me luck!
